Charminar : Charimanar is the major landmark of Hyderabad. It has four graceful minarets and was built by Muhammed Quli Qutub Shah. Charminar is a beautiful monument with Charkaman which has four archaways leading to roads in four directions.Golconda Fort : Golconda Fort is beautiful and one of the most magnificent fortress complexes of South India. This majestic fort is also known as one of the strongest forts of the World.
Mecca Masjid : Mecca Masjid is one of the oldest mosques of India. This mosque is also the biggest mosque in Hyderabad. Every year thousands of Muslim devotees come here for daily prayers. This mosque is also one of the finest examples of Muslim architecture.
Birla Mandir : Birla Mandir is also known as Lord Venkateswara temple. This temple is built entirely in white marble and situated in the centre of the city.
Qutub Shahi Tombs : Qutub Shahi Tombs is the home to various tombs dedicated to the rulers of Qutub Shahi dynasty. This is located at Shaikpet which is very near to Golkonda Fort. Large minarets and huge domes are fine example of Deccan architecture.
Chowmahalla Palace : This beautiful palace was the seat of Asaf Jahi dynasty and was built for entertaining official guests and royal visitors.
Falaknuma Palace : Falaknuma Palace is the fine example of Italian architecture and made by Italian marble. It has now been undertaken by Taj group to develop this as Heritage Hotel.
Hussain Sagar : Hussain Sagar is a man-made lake and was built by Hazrat Hussain Shah Wali. This beautiful lake is situated in the centre of the city. There is a 19 metre tall Buddha statue which is also a famous tourist attraction. There are several beautiful gardens and statues around the lake.
Ramoji Film City (RFC) : RFC is world's largest film studio, spread at nearly 3000 acres. Recently is added in Guinness Book of World Records because of its size. This studio was opened in 1996.
Salar Jung Museum : Salar Jung Museum houses the largest one-man collection of antiques in the World. There are collections of the Veiled Rebecca and other huge collection of artifacts dating back to a few centuries.
Taramati Baradari : Taramati Baradari is a beautiful palace which is located near to Gandipet Lake and was built under the reign of Abdullah Qutb Shah. Baradari has 12 doorways for ventilation and is considered to be the most ingenious technique at the time.

Hyderabad is known for its mixed culture of Hindu and Muslim traditions. You will find people talking in Telugu or Urdu languages. By Air : Hyderabad is well connected to the rest of the world with both national and international flights. Hyderabad airport is divided into two parts, domestic and international terminals. Domestic terminal is called N.T. Rama Rao Domestic terminal and international airport is known as Rajiv Gandhi International Terminal. The airport is located at Begumpet.By Rail : For railway, Secunderabad is the head office for Southern and Central railways. There are two major railway stations as Hyderabad railway station and Kacheguda railway station. All of these three railway stations are well connected with other major states with some of the luxury and deluxe rails.
By Road : By Road, Hyderabad city is well connected to all the other major states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Orissa. Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation covers almost all the major cities and states through its private and government buses.
